The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, setting appointments, and assisting the sales team in driving new business. This role requires a proactive approach to lead generation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients.
Responsibilities
Research and identify potential clients within our target market.
Use various tools and platforms (LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach, etc.) to generate leads and set up meetings with decision-makers.
Qualify leads based on business needs, budget, and timeline.
Maintain and update lead information and sales activity in our CRM system (HubSpot).
Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and a seamless client experience.
Develop and execute outbound prospecting campaigns to engage new leads.
Follow up with leads to keep the pipeline full and ensure consistent outreach.
Track and report on sales metrics and KPIs to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Participate in training and sales meetings to improve skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an SDR, sales associate, or similar role in a B2B environment.
Strong understanding of sales processes and lead generation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with prospects.
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Ability to handle rejection and stay persistent.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
